I am so thankful to TEWI for pairing me up with Vaishnavi when I had initially asked for a therapist who specialised with ADHD as that was my primary concern. It has been more than 6 months since I started therapy sessions with Vaishnavi in conjunction with being treated with psychiatric medications. It has been quite a ride; discovering what I like, what I am strong at and my resilience potential. It has been quite a journey. I could not have done this without the regular therapy sessions with Vaishnavi. She has been instrumental in helping me find myself along with providing unique perspectives. My experience with Prachi in the Mindful Dating Journey was enlightening. I was struggling with depression & anxiety, loneliness. I was unable to regulate my emotions and some of my past memories from childhood had been creeping up on me. Sana helped me to identify my PTSD from childhood and how I had always been caught between my parents’ fights & how it took me a while to understand, I had been only viewing relationships in my life, especially after marriage, my in laws, my husband etc. through her life experience & had been influenced by that. I learnt & am still learning to create boundaries & understand people through my own experience & knowledge & not through my parents. Sana has helped me analyse & calm down when I feel anxious. I feel extremely safe & comfortable to share & be vulnerable with her in search of answers & how I can work on it with zero judgement from her. For how long will my therapy continue?
You are a unique individual and no one is like you. Therefore, your therapy will also follow a unique pattern and the duration will depend on the depth of your concerns, how long you have struggled with them, your environmental factors, your readiness, and your own personality. It can take anywhere between 5-10 sessions to start seeing a tangible and sustainable change.
Will I be prescribed medicine?
No, we do not prescribe medicines. We are a Team of clinical and counselling psychologists who infer patterns from your symptoms using information from your sessions as well as scientific tests and assessment.
